"As an Admin/Mod for a large internet watch forum - I'm not easily swayed by brand name hype or advertising. Starting last year, Ste•••art took our watch forum by storm - with members ordering watches by word of mouth from other members testimonials. Be it automatic or quartz movements - our members bought (and mostly kept - not reselling) their Ste•••arts. Long after the "buzz" has settled down - we still urge new members to look and compare Ste•••art against anything they're thinking about buying in their categories of interest. I own the Mach1 Black bezel with the green chrono hand on ss bracelet - a fine example of the watchmakers art - a stunning 51 jewel tachy/chrono featuring a DD2020 chrono module sitting on top of an ETA 2824-2... My second purchase was a "Pepsi-Bezel" GMT Ocean1 sport watch - the ETA 2893-2 movement finely executed in a 42mm case - easily mistaken for a Rollie GMT - with nothing to be ashamed of in fit or finish - and keeps near COSC time unadjusted from the factory. My third Ste•••art was a rare special production run from an Indiana Air National Guard Unit who commissioned an Ocean1 GMT with their unit logo...an opportunity to own one of 20 made for the F-16 squadron members when it became available to me... These are Swiss Made timepieces - quality in design, fit, finish, execution and value. A word about customer service. For the few members on our forum who had issues with their purchases - Jon and Elsa were "right on it"... Satisfied customers all. For the price of an Asian made watch - you can have quality Swiss on the wrist... Give these watches a look - you will not be disappointed... Mike H. BDWF Admin/Mod Ownerer of three Ste•••arts and 26 watches overall in my collection... Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE" Mike H. |
