"In a perfect world........
.....nothing would go wrong. But as we all know it does. So given that a lot of problems can be fixed is it the problem that bothers us or the way the problem is handled.
I had a problem with my new Ocean Magnum 44 watch from Debaufre the watch had to be returned but the service and customer support was amazing. I received constant emails from Jon, who I believe is the president of Debaufre. - He was away on business in Europe but kept informing me as to what they were doing to correct the issue. As a WUS liaison for Debaufre, WUS member Debaufre Pro was informed every step of the way and he kept in constant contact ensuring me the problem would be fixed and the time frame.
The issue with the watch was probably 1 in a 10,000 so I still maintain that the QC and customer service at Debaufre is second to none and will be the mainstay of their continued success. Through the whole process I not only felt they were concerned about me being happy but also to ensure that future buyers don't have the same issue even though this problem may have just been a 'freak' problem.
Am I upset with Debaufre? Not at all, I wish all companies (not just watch makers) handled their customers with the regard and consideration that Debaufre does.
My replacement Magnum is working fine, I love the watch - and because I still believe they are one of the best for value I have just ordered a TRITON." KiterPete
