"I just picked the Nav-B Limited Edition up from customs yesterday and wore it on the black strap for around 3 hours. Here are my initial impressions:

1. It is of good quality, I check my watches on the loupe when I acquire them and could say convincingly that quality is very good. I've been Panerai collector for some years now and have a few top brands in my collection like VC, AP, IWC, Cartier, a number of Pams, a number of German watches as Sinn, MG and some vintage Seikos. I would say Debaufres' quality can stand its ground. And for the price, well, it topples the top brands when it comes to price:quality ratio.

2. The movement, well what can I say, an ETA 2824, nobody can say anything bad on that. I would have preferred it to be an Unitas manual wind though because for the design, I think it requires watches of this remade design to be at least manual winding, just adds to the genuinity of the design.

3. Case size, love the 48-mm size on this one as I love my Pam 232/249/127. That's why I bought this watch is because I love the hefty size. I have a 7-in or so wrist size and just can manage the 47s. Make wise, very nice I'm liking the LE number printed under the case, near the lower lugs. Caseback, solid is nice, I don't really mind not seeing the movement.

4. Dial, hmm, nothing but good words on that one.

5. Crown, I can tolerate this one, doesn't bother me at all, it compliments the watch size and the case, anything smaller will be off balance.

6. The strap, the black one is ok but the flesh? hmm, wish it was tanned a bit. Both are nice in terms of thickness and hardware though. The flesh has a nice length but the black one lacks a tail. It's a good thing I ordered an extra brown strap, now that is very nice.

7. The presentation box. Reminds me of my LE Pams. But my pams doesn't have the LE number engraved in the plate. It also doesn't have my name on the certificate. So kudos to Debaufre on this one.

I hope this was helpful. Cheers." Dr. Benjo Parawan
