"I am thoroughly impressed with this beautiful timepiece [Debaufre Ocean-1]. Having taken advantage of an S&D sale (scratch & dent) via a web forum I am a member of, I learned that the "scratch" was actually a letter misplaced on the case back. This was a brand new watch fresh from the factory! The first thing that impressed me was the home style approach Debaufre takes to selling. Elsa could not have been kinder to work with, and they invite you to call them and learn about the watch before your purchase! In short, they want you to feel completely comfortable with your decision. I had the watch in as little as three days, and was blown away when I opened the box. The dial has a hematite like appearance, with small speckles that glisten in the light. The case and bracelet are solid and the movement is ultra smooth. I wore this watch after sizing it a few days later, and received several compliments on it. I keep it on a winder and am astonished at how accurate it keeps time. Since then, I have purchased a few additional bezel inserts in various colors and the service from Jon, Elsa and the team has been outstanding. There is no doubt in my mind that they will stand behind this product whether it is in warranty or not. And, there is little doubt that you could find a better watch value than the Ocean-1.
