"Approximately one month ago, I purchased the 39-mm Ocean-1 watch. I was seeking a sturdy, classic looking dive watch that was well made but would not break the bank, as I intended to use the watch, not simply treat it as a piece of jewelry. After much research, I stumbled across the Debaufre line of watches. I was impressed by the positive reviews they received and the overwhelmingly positive comments regarding customer service. After a month of hard use, including a Montana ski trip and a diving excursion in the Florida Keys, I can attest that everything said about Debaufre watches is true.
My watch is beautifully made. The fit and finish are flawless, easily matching that of any rival brands. Despite being worn hard, the watch has performed without pause or problem. I absolutely love this watch and would recommend it without reservation. My only complaint, but it seems fairly universal to all watches of this type is that the luminosity of the dial and hands fades rather quickly. I would love to see this watch incorporate a tritium lighting system, as I would instantly buy another!! Sincerely." Viktor Theiss
