"Thanks for asking my input. I have had this Ocean-1 watch over a year and wear it daily and still can't stop admiring it. It is simply a great looking watch! As an amateur watchmaker the only thing I think that would be "nice" is if the bezel were removable so if it ever got damaged in some way it could be replaced.
I took it off once and ended up bending the bezel slightly because they are designed not to come off. I was able to straighten the bezel and re-configure the spring wire inside and snap it back on. All is well now.
Nevertheless I love this watch and there is nothing I can see that in my opinion is 'wrong' with it. I have referred several people to Debaufre and I hope they followed thru. I would like to get my son one when he graduates flight school. Things have been slow in the cabinetmaking business so I'll have to see about that. Best regards." Tom Campbell
