This week we released the new 44-mm Nav-B Flieger Pilot watch powered by either an ETA 2824-2 automatic movement or an Unitas 6498 hand-wind movement. The much requested watches have finally been realized, however due to the current Swiss Movement Shortage situation, we only have 25 of each en-route. The pre-order price is $565, and the release price has been set at $600. You can already purchase the 44-mm Automatic ETA version and the 44-mm Hand-wind Unitas version in our online store and the watch will ship as soon as they arrive, we’re expecting them within the next two to three weeks.

This is the limited edition skeleton watch called the Esqueleto Art Deco, and there are only 20 pieces available (update: less than 10 remain), boy they are so beautiful! The movement is handcrafted, they are quite difficult to obtain, due to the time and cost it takes to manufacture them, the company only produces a select number every year. This has been in the works for months, and it was worth the wait.

We have received 2 prototype watches of our new 44-mm GMT watch. We have sent these watches out to be tested and inspected by two watch-forum members. Depending on their analysis and recommendation, we will launch this 44-mm GMT into production to be in stock in Fall.

Just in, the Debaufre key-chains which are produced from the same leather as our exquisite leather straps. They are a wonderful gift at $36, manufactured by leather company legend Rios 1931. They will be added to the store in the next few days.

Update to the Ocean-1 Classic watch. We are changing the movement used in the Ocean-1 Classic to the Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement. We have 30 watches en route (estimated arrival date is June 20th). The case of the Ocean-1 Classic is 42-mm but the dial has a distinctively different design than the standard Ocean-1 in that it uses larger markers. Check out the upgraded Ocean-1 Classic.

Mike Potekhen will be racing at the Indianapolis Speedway for the Indy Race which will be broadcast on ESPN on Friday, May 23rd. We will of course be watching. You know Mike Potekhen as he finished ranked 5th in the 2007 Indy Pro Series races. He wears our Le Mans watch, which was featured a few weeks ago on our home page. Sean Carroll is a legend in the Air Show circuit, a veteran and a hero, flying the famed YAK airplane. Sean tours the Air Shows along side of Dale Snodgrass and a few other Top Guns. He was in combat as a fighter pilot, so flying is second nature to him. Alldaron met with Sean in South Florida for the Miami Air Show to personally deliver to him his Nav-B Automatic watch. Of course Dale Snodgrass decided to play a prank on Sean and told him the watch was actually one for himself and that it wasn't for Sean, in fact he would have to wait even longer.

Needless to say, this was rather amusing, and when we finally "delivered" the watch to Sean, he was blown away and excited. Immediately he remove his Rolex and put on the Nav-B automatic. "I have been wanting something to replace my Rolex for quite some time now, and this is perfect. I have wanted a Nav-B since I saw you personally deliver one to Dale." - Sean

Mike Potekhen is the 2007 5th ranked Indy Pro Series driver, he's been racing since he was 11. Alldaron met with Mike in Feb 2008, down in Miami for the Homestead Motor Speedway pre-season qualifiers. There we presented Mike Potekhen with the Le Mans watch, which he was thrilled to receive. Alldaron mentioned how cool it was to be seeing the team's pit and trailer close up, especially being shown around by Mike.
