Update to the Ocean-1 Classic watch. We are changing
the movement used in the Ocean-1 Classic to the Swiss
ETA 2824-2 movement. We have 30 watches en route
(estimated arrival date is June 20th). The case of
the Ocean-1 Classic is 42-mm but the dial has a
distinctively different design than the standard
Ocean-1 in that it uses larger markers. Check out the
upgraded
Ocean-1 Classic.

CCS Champion Santiago Villa wears the Ocean-1 Classic.

Santiago Villa is the 2007 CCS / Florida Expert
Overall Motorcycle Champion. He also won expert
championships in 2007 for Ultra Light Superbike,
Unlimited Superbike and Unlimited Supersport. He
finished 2nd in GTO and Unlimited Grand Prix and
finished 3rd in Heavyweight Superbike. After the CCS
Champion's Ceremony, held in Miami this past weekend,
Alldaron delivered to Santiago an Ocean-1 Classic
watch for his excellent performance and endurance
during the 2007 race season. Santiago had to prevail
through unbearable odds to claim the title and the
1st place championship.

Santiago Villa - CSS Champion.
Colombian racer, Santiago Villa, was badly burned when a fire erupted during a routine pit stop during the ASRA Team Challenge, Oct 19 2007, at Daytona International Speedway. He was airlifted to a burn center in Orlando, Florida. Recovering in the hospital, Santiago was first in points in the race season, and would take the title if no-one passed him. The rider holding the second place in points saw his opportunity to take the lead, pushing extra hard each race to over-take Santiago and claim the title. Being the driven individual he is, Santiago replied by checking himself out of the hospital (against doctor's recommendations), getting suited up and racing the last three races in the season to win the Championship and take the 1st place title.
When we heard about this amazing display of endurance, and an uphill battle against all odds, we decided we had to reward him the best way we know how... with a Swiss Debaufre watch. We contacted the director of the CSS organization, Henry Degouw and arranged the informal presentation, much to Henry's appreciation.
"When I spoke with Santiago, I was impressed by his humility and gratitude towards his family, friends and other riders on the circuit. He possessed such a calm and appreciative attitude, not common in someone who just took the first place Championship. I was over-whelmed by his manner and was proud to be giving him a Debaufre watch." Alldaron Knewitz
